Cape Primrose (Streptocarpus)

~This plant was originally found in the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa. It is a relative of the African violet but the long strapping leaves give it an entirely different look. The trumpet shaped flowers emerge on 4 6 stems and come in a few colors white to light purple.
If these plants dont get enough light eastern exposure is good the leaves become floppy and can be considered dispensable when flowers finish their show.
